Single vehicle accident leads to DUI charges for Christian County man

An early Sunday morning traffic accident leads to the arrest of a Christian County man.  

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said the accident happened just before 4 am in the 1000 block of Highland Church Road.  A southbound vehicle driven by 51-year-old Steven Toon of Herndon left the right shoulder of the road and struck a tree.

Toon was taken to an area hosputal for treatment and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.  He was lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
