Ten people arrested following drug investigation

The Calloway and Marshall County Sheriff's Offices made 10 arrests over the holiday weekend following a month long drug investigation.

Narcotic detectives conducted several search warrants at numerous residences and made several undercover controlled drug purchases in Calloway County resulting in the seizure of over 1.14 pounds of crystal methamphetamine packaged ready for sale.

Also seized was 4.5 pounds of Marijuana, a half-pound of Psilocybin Mushrooms, Ecstasy, Anabolic Steroids, numerous scheduled narcotics including Hydrocodone, Oxycodone, Xanax, and various other prescription only pills. 

Detectives also seized and recovered 4 different handguns during this investigation with one being reported stolen out of Tennessee.

Those arrested were: 32 year old Andrew S. Heckathorn, 44 year old Travis N. Ashley, 50 year old John W. Cloud, 61 year old Michael W.. Murphy, 47 year old Chad M. Bowers, 48 year old Darren L. Brandon, 53 year old Patricia S. Jones, 47 year old Karen R. Ashley amd 36 year old Brandi N. Mayo of Murray along with 34 year old Victoria J. Overman of Paducah. 

All 10 individuals were lodged in the Calloway County Detention Center.
