Two-vehicle crash in McCracken County sent two to the hospital

A two-vehicle crash Thursday morning sent two people to the hospital.

The crash happened along US 60 near Mayfield Metropolis Road at about 7 a.m. Thursday. McCracken County Sheriff’s deputies said that they believe an SUV driven by Sue Dowdy of Barlow was headed east on US 60 when a vehicle driven by a juvenile turned in front of her. Dowdy was reportedly unable to avoid the turning vehicle, and they collided.

Sue Dowdy and her passenger, Samantha Dowdy, were taken to a hospital to be treated for injuries.
