A Tennessee man is jailed after an unusual incident in Princeton Wednesday.

WPKY reported Princeton Police as saying officers received a report around 8 am Wednesday that the man, 18-year-old Emmanuel Jigo, had left the hospital with an IV in his arm, acting disruptive and belligerent.

Officers then received several calls that JIgo was seen running into traffic on US 62 West.  Jigo was found in the middle of the roadway. They attempted to get him out of the roadway to check his welfare.  Jigo would not comply but once he did, officers found him to be intoxicated.

Jigo was first arrested for disorderly conduct, public intoxication involving a controlled substance, and fleeing or evading police. He was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail

However, around 1 pm, it was reported that Jigo assaulted two members of the jail staff and was subsequently charged with third-degree assault.
