Clifty Farms Country Hams from Scottsville claimed grand champion honors Thursday at the Kentucky State Fair.

Clifty Farms has been curing hams for more than 60 years.

The champion ham came from Class One, which included hams produced before January 1st weighing between 14 and 17 pounds.

Broadbent B & B Foods of Kuttawa won two judging classes, and Penn Country Hams of Campbellsville also won a group award.

The grand champion Ham from Clifty Farms will be sold Thursday at the 62nd annual Kentucky Farm Bureau Country Ham Breakfast at the fair.
