Three people, including a juvenile, were arrested early Sunday morning in Paducah.

Paducah Police said they were patrolling in the area of Mildred and Kruger Streets just after 1 am Sunday when a juvenile was observed firing a gun inside a moving vehicle in the 900 block of North 25th Street.

When the vehicle was pulled over, the 17-year-old juvenile male fled on foot.  Officers observed him enter the rear door of a residence. They spoke with the juvenile’s parents, who brought him outside to speak with them.

Meanwhile, other officers returned to the original location and observed damage to a vehicle and to the exterior of an occupied residence.

Officers then obtained a search warrant at the juvenile's home and located a handgun under the mattress in the bedroom of 49-year-old Tari J. Haynes and 46-year-old Christopher E. Robinson.  Also discovered was numerous rounds of ammunition and marijuana.

The juvenile was arrested on charges of minor in possession of a firearm, wanton endangerment, criminal mischief and possession of marijuana.  He was placed in the McCracken Juvenile Detention Center.

Haynes was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and possession of marijuana.  Robinson was charged with felon in possession of a firearm and possession of marijuana.  Both were lodged in the McCracken County Detention Center.
