Three people injured in Saturday traffic accident

Three people were treated for minor injuries following a Saturday morning traffic accident in Graves County.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office responded to the accident at the intersection of KY 1684 and KY 849.  Investigators said a truck operated by 17-year-old Chase Workman of Brookport, IL was southbound on KY 1684. 

He attempted to stop at a stop sign but was not able to do so and struck a van on KY 849 driven by 47-year-old Thomas Paschall of Symsonia.

Workman was transported to Baptist Health Paducah while Thomas Paschall and his passenger, 19-year-old Lydia Paschall were transported to Mercy Health- Lourdes Hospital. All three were treated and released for minor injuries.
