Three-vehicle crash along US 62 in Lyon County injures two

A three-vehicle crash along US 62 in Lyon County injured two people.

Lyon County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the crash just after 5 p.m. Monday evening. Their investigation determined that 17-year-old Adreonna Badger of Kuttawa was headed east on US 62 when her SUV collided with another SUV, driven by 55-year-old Renee Humphrey of Kuttawa, that had stopped to turn onto Fowler Road. After the collision with Humphrey’s vehicle, Badger’s SUV hit a car traveling in the opposite direction, driven by 53-year-old Shawn D. Crooks of Eddyville.

Badger was taken to the hospital by EMS for treatment of her injuries. A 15-year-old in Badger’s vehicle was later driven to the hospital in a personal vehicle.
