A Thursday traffic stop in McCracken County landed an alleged meth trafficker in jail.

The stop happened on Thursday at about 4:15 p.m. near Blandville and Highland Church Roads. A McCracken County Sheriff’s deputy said he witnessed a moving violation and stopped the vehicle driven by 43-year-old Gregory Pannell of Paducah. Pannell is said to have been in possession of about 29 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and a large amount of cash thought to be drug sale proceeds.
