Trigg traffic stop leads to drug charge for Paducah man

A Paducah man has been charged with drug possession as the result of a traffic stop in Trigg County.

According to WKDZ, Trigg County Sheriff's deputies stopped a vehicle on I-24 driven by 45-year-old Timothy Hildreth for speeding.

He reportedly gave consent to search the vehicle, and a bag of suspected methamphetamine was allegedly located.

Hildreth was arrested and charged with methamphetamine possession and speeding.
