An investigation into several burglaries in Graves County landed two Mayfield men behind bars.

Over the weekend, someone reported finding two men attempting to steal a utility trailer from his property in northern Graves County.

The man took pictures of the vehicle and suspects as they unhooked the trailer and sped off.

The next day, someone else reported their single-wide mobile home had been burglarized and numerous items were stolen.

Detectives searched two homes on Lawn Drive just north of Mayfield, and the stolen items were reportedly recovered.

The sheriff's office said methamphetamine was also seized.

The suspects, identified as 46-year-old Brian Dunbar, and 66-year-old Charles Leon Wilcox, were both arrested and taken to out-of-county detention facilities.

Both Dunbar and Wilcox were charged with burglary, criminal trespassing, and attempted felony theft.

Dunbar was additionally charged with possession of methamphetamine. Wilcox will face an additional charge of receiving stolen property.
