Three people were arrested and one is still sought after a drug sweep in Mayfield on Friday morning.

Graves County Sheriff’s detectives and their counterparts from Mayfield Police followed up on a series of investigations and went to a complex on Anderson Avenue to serve warrants. Reportedly, crystal methamphetamine had been purchased from a suspect there.

The search is said to have uncovered meth in a purse belonging to 46-year-old Vanessa K. Chambers, who lived in a different unit at the complex. According to the report, Chambers is on probation for a burglary conviction. She was arrested and charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.

Just before noon, detectives searched a home on North 17th Street looking for 38-year-old Dustin D. Blake. Blake was accused of selling cocaine to an undercover officer. Blake was arrested in the yard of a nearby home. He was charged with trafficking in cocaine.

A third man is still wanted by police. An undercover purchase of meth had reportedly been made from 25-year-old Tyson B. Chambers of Mayfield as part of the investigation. Chambers is wanted on a meth trafficking charge.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Chambers is asked to contact the Graves County Sheriff’s Office.
