Two arrested after undercover drug operation in Graves County

An undercover methamphetamine trafficking investigation led to the arrest of two men in Graves County.

the Graves County and McCracken County Sheriff’s Offices received information that 36-year-old Joshua A. White was selling meth with an accomplice.

Both sheriff’s offices conducted an undercover investigation on Friday afternoon, when they said that around 3 ounces of crystal meth was purchased from the men in the 900 block of Clark Street. Deputies arrested Whit and 55-year-old Joseph S. Turner.

Officials also searched a nearby residence where both men lived. They said they recovered additional items, including marijuana, electric scales, dosage units of Oxycodone and Hydrocodone and a loaded 9mm semi-automatic pistol. More than five thousand dollars in cash was also seized from the two suspects.

Both were charged with meth trafficking and other offenses. White was additionally charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
