Two injured in Graves County traffic accident

Two people were injured in a collision in Graves County on Tuesday.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office said the accident occurred around 7:20 am at the intersection of KY 440 and KY 408.  Investigators said a vehicle operated by 20-year-old Melannie Tovar of Melber struck a vehicle driven by 20-year-old Destiny Nichols of Arlington.

Nichols and her passenger, Damian Yeomons, were transported to Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital for treatment of injuries.
