Two jailed on Marshall County drug charges

A Wednesday traffic stop near Moors Camp Highway and US 68 East in Marshall County Wednesday led to two arrests.

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office said 32-year-old Samatha Brown of Benton and a passenger in her car, 54-year-old David Dowdy were taken into custody.

Brown was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and several traffic offenses. 

Dowdy was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
