Two sent to hospitals in McCracken collision

Two people were injured in a crash on Blandville Road in McCracken County on Wednesday.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s office responded to the crash around 5:50 p.m.

Deputies said 48-year-old Phillip Morgan of Cunningham was driving a car that crossed into path of an oncoming SUV driven by 60-year-old Kelly Harris of Paducah. The car reportedly sideswiped the SUV and overturned in a creek. The SUV spun but stayed in the roadway.

Both drivers were transported to area hospitals.

Blandville Road was shut down for about 90 minutes.
