A two-vehicle accident Sunday evening in McCracken County left several people injured and a Hopkinsville man in jail.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said Jon Day of Hopkinsville was driving on Childress Road and reportedly disregarded a stop signal. He collided with a vehicle with five occupants at McKendree Church Road.

Multiple occupants were taken to area hospitals for treatment with one taken to an out of state hospital.

Day's charges included wanton endangerment, DUI and driving on a DUI-suspended license. He was lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
