Warrant leads to drug charges for New Concord woman

A Failure to Appear Warrant served Thursday morning in Calloway County led to drug charges for a New Concord woman.

According to the Calloway County Sheriff's Office, deputies served the warrant on 24-year-old Ashley M. Dees at a home on Kline Trail.

During the process, deputies allegedly found that Dees was in possession of illicit drugs.

She was arrested and taken to the Calloway County Detention Center, charged with three counts of failure to appear and drug offenses.
