A chance for a wet weekend is firming up in the forecast, with the possibility for some severe weather.
The National Weather Service in Paducah said we'll keep dry and pleasant conditions for the rest of the work week. Highs will continue to get into the low to mid 80s.
Rain and thunderstorm chances emerge by the weekend, and may include a slight risk for strong or severe storms Saturday afternoon and evening, including 1-2 inches of rainfall.
After the rain wraps up on Sunday, highs will only be in the low 70s Sunday and Monday. The low Monday morning looks to be around 44.
