A Paducah woman was arrested in early October on various charges following a traffic stop.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said a deputy conducted the traffic stop for traffic violations.

During the course of this stop the driver, 27-year-old Chelsea Figley of Paducah, is said to have resisted the deputy and was taken into custody after a short struggle.

The deputy later discovered Figley had allegedly hidden contraband on her person. Figley was ultimately charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia, assault of a police officer, resisting arrest, tampering with physical evidence and several traffic violations.
