Woman who stole work truck from Vienna motel caught in Clarksville

A work truck stolen Monday morning in Vienna, Illinois was recovered in the Clarksville, Tennessee area later that afternoon and a suspect was taken into custody.

The Vienna Police Department got a call at 11:30 am that a pickup was stolen that had large green racks on its sides to haul panes of glass.

Witnesses posted that the truck was parked at a motel at the I-24 interchange where remodeling work was being done.

The suspect that stole the truck was described as a white female in her early 50s. 

The stolen truck was located a few hours later by the Montgomery County Tennessee Sheriffs office, and a suspect was taken into custody. 

No other information was released.
