MVC Player of the Year Halli Poock erupted for 33 points and the Murray State Racers put an exclamation point on their sparkling season with a 91-70 win over Evansville in the conference championship Sunday in Iowa.
Shamecce Currie-Jelks added a double-double with 12 points and a game-high 16 rebounds.
The Racers finished are 31-3 with a 19-1 conference mark. It's their second straight Missouri Valley Conference Tournament title, with an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament.
The Racers head to the main event on a 15-game winning streak under coach Rechelle Turner, who is in her ninth season.
Murray State shot 48 percent (13-27) behind the 3-point arc, and 51 percent for the game overall.
The Racers will find out their NCAA tourney opponent and destination during the NCAA Selection Show which will take place at 7 p.m. on ESPN.
