Milan Momcilovic is officially a Kentucky Wildcat.
Momcilovic, the top-rated player in the transfer portal, signed with UK on Friday. He played the last three seasons at Iowa State and led the Cyclones in scoring last season, averaging 16.9 points per game. He also made 136 3-pointers and connected on 48.7 percent of his shots from long range.
He was Iowa State’s leading scorer in 16 games as a junior and tallied 20 or more points in 23 games last season.
Momcilovic averaged double figures in each of his first three collegiate seasons. For his career, he averages 13.3 points per game and 3.2 rebounds while shooting 42.9 percent from 3-point range and a stellar 84.5 percent from the free-throw line. Momcilovic has made continued strides throughout his college career, increasing his scoring, field-goal percentage, 3-point percentage and free-throw percentage every season during his three years.
Momcilovic was an All-Big 12 Second Team selection in 2026, a Big 12 All-Tournament Team pick in both 2024 and 2026 and a Big 12 All-Freshman Team honoree in 2024. He won the 2024 Big 12 Tournament with the Cyclones, scoring 18 points in the final against Houston.

Kentucky will take on Virginia in the fourth edition of the SEC-ACC Challenge on Dec. 2 in Charlottesville, Virginia. Kentucky is 2-2 in the event.
The Wildcats own a 6-3 record over the Cavaliers and won the last meeting between the two programs, a 75-61 triumph in the Maui Invitational in 2002.
It will mark Kentucky’s first visit to Charlottesville since the 1966-67 season. Virginia went 30-6 last year and reached the finals of the ACC Tournament.
Kentucky’s non-conference opponents next season include Indiana, Louisville, Kansas, North Carolina and Virginia.
