This years exhibition features artwork made in a variety of mediums by Yeiser Art Center members. Members were encouraged to interpret the theme of “censorship in art” to be considered for artist awards.
Josh Morehead chose awards to be presented at the opening reception on Saturday, Jan. 25th. Morehead is the Director of Education and Assistant Director of Development at The Carson Center for the Performing Arts.
The NEA Big Read in Paducah is presented in partnership with the Yeiser Art Center and other community organizations. An initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest, the NEA Big Read broadens understanding of our world, our communities, and ourselves through the joy of sharing a good book.
The show will be on exhibit through February 29th.
