Cars and Guitars will return in September, October

Downtown Paducah's Cars and Guitars will return for two more nights on September 19 and October 17.

Auto enthusiasts, music lovers, and the local community are invited to gather downtown to enjoy the prized vehicles and onstage performances on display among the downtown bars, restaurants, shops, galleries and museums.

If you want to display your vehicle, gates open and parking begins at 3 pm. There's a $5 registration fee, first come first served until the limited parking spots are taken up.

Visitors can start wandering downtown after 4pm, and activities will continue until 8 pm. Awards for the vehicles will be announced at 7pm.

Musical genres will include classic rock, blues, country and acoustic.
