Edwards & Kautz is sponsoring this
night out for teachers to show them how much they are appreciated in
the community, recognize them for their hard work and reward them
with gift cards for school supplies to use in their classrooms and a
chance to win other giveaways from local businesses.
"I grew up in the Paducah, and
Edwards & Kautz knows how hard the teachers work to educate the
kids in Paducah," said Mark Edwards, a partner with Edwards &
Kautz. "We thought this trivia night would be a way to thank
teachers for their dedication, give them a night out on us and give
them the opportunity to get supplies for their classrooms."
Every teacher at a Paducah school (Paducah City Schools, McCracken County Schools, St. Mary School System, CCA) is invited to form a team of five to play trivia, which will be handled by Challenge Entertainment. All the attorneys from Edward & Kautz also will be in attendance and play during the night. A Paducah Beer Werks buffet dinner will be provided, and each participant will get one drink ticket courtesy of Edwards & Kautz. Between each round of trivia, there will be drawing for gift cards from local businesses, and the top three winning teams from the night will receive:
First place: $500 in gift cards
Second place: $300 in gift cards
Third place: $200 in gift cards
