PTHS juniors Logan Bakehouse, Matthew Carnes, Jack Daniels, Harrison Kelly, and Palmer Stroup have been selected to attend Kentucky Boys State. The week-long leadership academy will be held at the Wendell H. Ford Regional Training Center in Greenville, Kentucky June 7 - 12. Rising seniors are eligible to apply.

Kentucky Boys state is a program sponsored by American Legion that is designed to train Kentucky students in the fundamentals of good citizenship and governmental operations. The event allows participants to put the theories of American government into practice though the actual operation of city, county, and state offices, as organized under the plans of a mythical 51st state.
