St. Mary Student Selected for UK Health Program

A St. Mary student has been selected for the University of Kentucky Summer Health Career Program.

St. Mary sophomore Ethan Barnett was one of 30 students out of 300 applicants selected to participate in the three-week health careers residential camp designed for high school students considering a college path leading to a health profession. 

Students will observe UK faculty, health professionals and health professions students. They will participate in a structured educational curriculum and have hands-on activities and clinical observation opportunities. 

Participants will meet students currently enrolled in the Colleges of Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Nursing, Health Sciences and Public Health, as well as the Dean from each college.
