Two people were charged with DUI after a single-vehicle crash Sunday night in Crittenden County.
Crittenden County Sheriff's deputies were called to the crash on Mexico Road. A single vehicle, driven by Eduando Gonzalez, reportedly ran off the road and hit a tree. A deputy said he could smell alcohol on Gonzalez during the investigation. Gonzalez was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.
During the deputy's investigation, a second man drove up intending to pick up Gonzalez. The deputy noticed a strong smell of alcohol on that man, as well, leading to the arrest of Herry Alfonso. Alfonso was also charged with DUI.
Both men were taken to the Crittenden County Detention Center.
