Drug investigation nets a Paducah man on trafficking charges

A multi-agency drug investigation landed a Paducah man in jail on trafficking charges.

Detectives from the McCracken County and Calloway County Sheriff’s Offices were able to make undercover methamphetamine purchases during July from a Paducah man. That individual, identified as 50-year-old George Walker, reportedly has prior convictions for trafficking. Detectives caught up to Walker and served him with an arrest warrant on Wednesday at his home along Husband Road.

More methamphetamine, plus marijuana and a glass pipe, were allegedly located during the arrest.

Walker was charged with trafficking and possession of meth as well as possession of marijuana. More charges are possible.
