Fire destroys vacant Trigg County building

A vacant structure in Trigg County was destroyed by fire Saturday night.

WKDZ reported Linton Fire Chief Jason Porter said the building on South Road near the Tennessee state line was fully engulfed when they arrived around 10 pm.  

Porter added firemen were able to keep the blaze from spreading to a wooded area near the home.  No injuries were reported.
