A former Fort Campbell solider was sentenced to life in federal prison this week for aggrvated sexual abuse of a minor.

40 year old Larry Bryan Nash of Nokomis, IL was sentenced to life in federal prison, followed by a life-term of supervised release, for aggravated sexual abuse of a minor. 

According to court documents, while enlisted in the United States Army and stationed at Fort Campbell, Nash knowingly caused the minor to engage in sexual acts. 

Nash did so on multiple occasions. The incidents occurred on or about and between March 5, 2020, and September 16, 2021, and specifically on September 29, 2021, by using force against her. 

On these occasions, the minor was older than 12 but younger than 16 years old and under Nash’s supervisory control. 

Nash had sexually abused her for several years prior.
