Graves County road crew discovers fake $100 bills in ditches

The Graves County Sheriff's Office shared on Monday that road clean-up crews recovered several fake $100 bills.

The Sheriff's Office said the counterfeit money was found in ditches along South Sutton Lane, Hopewell Road and Oak Grove Church Road. 

The sheriff's office said they will occasionally receive calls from area businesses about counterfeit bills being passed. They suggest that businesses be alert when accepting $100 bills as that is the most used denomination for U.S. currency counterfeited.
