Hazel man arrested on drug, gun charges

Calloway County Sheriff's deputies arrested a Hazel man on drug and other charges Sunday night.

Deputies were attempting to execute an arrest warrant for a subject believed to be located at a residence on Stateline Road when they made contact with another individual, 69-year-old Donald Galloway, who was found to be in possession of illicit drugs and handguns.

A criminal history check revealed that Galloway had multiple prior felony convictions.

Galloway was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance-methamphetamine, possession of a hand gun by a convicted felon, and possession of marijuana.

He was  lodged in the Calloway County Detention Center.
