Police in Christian County have identified and are still looking for a driver who was involved in a crash during a high-speed pursuit on Sunday.

The incident happened on Sunday afternoon as Kentucky State Police troopers tried to stop a vehicle racing toward Tennessee at over 100 miles per hour. At the intersection with State Line Road, the suspect, Jalan Gibson, crashed into the back of another vehicle, seriously injuring Herman Amos. Gibson then took off on foot and eluded police.

Amos was flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for treatment of his injuries.

Agencies, including the Christian County Sheriff's Office, Hopkinsville Police, and Oak Grove Police, searched the area, but Gibson has still not been found.
