Hopkinsville teenager hospitalized after shooting

A Hopkinsville teenager was wounded in a Sunday night shooting.

Hopkinsville Police told WKDZ the 16-year-old male was shot in the leg just after 8 pm near West 1st Street.  Investigators said 10 shell casings were reportedly found on the road.

The wounded teenager was first taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center, then tranported to an Evansville hospital.
