Murray home damaged by fire

A Sunday morning fire damaged a Murray residience.

The Murray Ledger and Times reported the Murray Fire Department was called to the home on Melrose Drive.  Calls to 911 indicated there was an explosion, but Murray Fire Chief Eric Pologruto said there was no evidence that an explosion occurred

When firemen arrived the house was heavily involved in flames.   

Investigators said there were no injuries in the fire.
