Knight announces candidacy for McCracken County Commissioner

Former McCracken County jailer David Knight announced his candidacy Tuesday for McCracken County Commissioner in District 2.

In a news release, Knight said he had the honor of serving as McCracken County’s elected Jailer for over six years. Through creative leadership and innovative programs, we helped many inmates become productive members of our community—making McCracken County a safer place for everyone. This same forward-thinking leadership is what he intends to bring to the Fiscal Court.

Knight has nearly 30 years in public service as he served in The Marines and worked with the McCracken County Sheriff's Office.
