A Louisville man was arrested following a scuffle with Graves County Sheriff's deputies on Saturday night.
Deputies said they were called to a residence on KY 58 East. They said 44-year-old Steven M. Brown had stopped at the residence and asked to use the homeowner's phone. Brown became disruptive with the homeowner and began acting in a threatening manner.
The encounter with deputies became physical while Brown was being arrested. He continued to resist and caused a shoulder injury to one of the deputies.
Methamphetamine was found inside Brown's vehicle. Deputies also learned he was wanted out of two different Kentucky counties.
He was wanted out of Barren County for leaving the scene of an accident and operating on a suspended or revoked operators license. In Monroe County, Brown was wanted on charges of trafficking in Fentanyl and being a persistent felony offender.
Brown was charged locally with criminal trespassing, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, possession of meth and other charges.
He reportedly is currently on parole, has numerous felony convictions, as well as two prior convictions for resisting arrest. Brown was transported to an out-of-county detention center.
