A man released from jail Tuesday after serving time for burglary was arrested again Thursday on a burglary charge near Fancy Farm.
The Graves County Sheriff's Office said a possible burglary in progress was reported at a business at the Stahr Road and KY 121 intersection.
The business owner reported that while reviewing surveillance camera footage from overnight, they noticed an unknown male walking around the business and entering from the loading dock area. However, video footage never showed the suspect exit the business.
Sheriff Jon Hayden was the first law enforcement officer to arrive, and as a search of the business began, the suspect was found hiding in a storage area where he was covering himself with items to conceal his presence.
The suspect was identified as 41-year-old Joshua K. Davis from the Todd and Logan County area.
Davis had been released from the Ballard County Jail on Tuesday after serving three years on a burglary conviction. He had been making his way south on KY 121 since being released.
Authorities said a bicycle was found behind the business that is suspected as being stolen from a location between where he was located and Wickliffe.
Davis was charged -- again -- with burglary 3rd degree.
