Mayfield man arrested on child sexual abuse charges

A Mayfield man was arrested Saturday on child sexual assault charges brought fifteen years ago.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office said 42-year-old Sergio Luis Gabriel was arrested at his residence.

Investigators learned Gabriel had allegedly assaulted two victims under age 12 in 2009 and 2010.

Gabriel was charged with one count of rape, one count of sodomy and three counts each of sexual abuse and one count of incest-victim under the age of 12.

He was taken to an out-of-county facility.
