A Mayfield teen allegedly involved in a shooting last Wednesday turned himself in to authorities.
Mayfield Police said Monday that 18-year-old Kyler Ellis was involved in the shooting incident along with a juvenile. The incident occured at the intersection of South 12th Street and US 45.
The victim's vehicle was struck four times and at least eight shots were fired. One of the three occupants suffered lacerations to her face.
Ellis was charged three counts of attempted murder, unlawfully permitting a minor to possess a handgun, unlawful transaction with a minor and criminal mischief.
Charges against the juvenile have been amended to three counts of attempted murder, possession of a handgun by a minor and discharging a firearm or other device across a public road.
