McCracken County couple arrested following drug investigation

A McCracken County couple was arrested Tuesday morning following a drug investigation on Cairo Road.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said they received a complaint in August alleging illegal drug activity in the 3900 block of Cairo Road. 

While executing a search warrant on Tuesday, detectives said they found two people inside the home, 41-year-old Jesse J. Bowman and 59-year-old Denise M. Morella.

Authorities also said they found 43 grams of crystal methamphetamine, multiple bags of synthetic marijuana, and assorted drug paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.

At the time of his arrest, Bowman was on federal supervision for previous federal convictions.
