All United Flights Cancelled at Barkley Regional

United Airlines has cancelled all Wednesday flights to and from Chicago at Barkley Regional Airport in McCracken County due to the unusually cold weather.

The airline said it was a wind chill warning in Chicago that prompted the cancellations. With forecasters anticipating a high temperature in the double-digits below zero for the day, Chicago hasn't seen temps this low in quite some time. The high temperature there on Thursday is expected to be a bit warmer, perhaps slightly above the zero mark.

It's not known if the airline is planning on any additional cancellations.
