A Benton man was hurt Tuesday in a crash on Clinton Road.

On Tuesday afternoon, Deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Clinton Rd. and Contest Rd.

According to the report, when deputies arrived they found a motorcycle sitting on the south shoulder of Clinton Road. Charles Wallace, of Benton, was reportedly riding the motorcycle North on Clinton Road when he attempted to pass a vehicle driven by Tyler Randolph of Paducah and ran into him. Wallace then lost control of the motorcycle and came to rest in a ditch.

Wallace was taken to Lourdes Hospital for treatment of non-life threating injuries.
