Paducah police said 56-year-old Billy Liles Jr. of Boaz was traveling west on Irvin Cobb Drive on a motorcycle when he hit a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Marshall Dowdy of Hickory. Dowdy told police he was leaving the Murphy fuel station onto Irvin Cobb Drive when he pulled into Liles' path.
Liles was taken by ambulance to Baptist Health Paducah, where he later died. Police said the department’s accident reconstruction team is handling the investigation.
