Broadway Closed for Kresge Building Demo Work

Both lanes of Broadway in Paducah are closed Friday morning between 3rd and 4th Streets as a contractor works on installing bracing to facilitate the demolition of the building at 318 Broadway, also known ans the Kresge building..

Paducah Public Information Officer Pam Spencer says both lanes are expected to be closed until later Friday afternoon. She says that over the next several weeks, the contractor will try to keep one lane open, but there will be times like today that both lanes will need to be closed due to maneuvering the heavy equipment.
