Cancer Survivors Exhibit-Reception at WBH May 24

The Kentucky Cancer Program will host “Faces of Cancer” a TreeCloud Photography photographic tribute to purchase area cancer survivors.  A reception, in honor of eight “Faces of Cancer” from the Purchase Area and a Survivor Celebration for those touched by cancer, will be held Thursday, May 24 at 6:30 pm at The Heart Center Auditorium at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.  “Faces of Cancer” is Kentucky Cancer Program’s celebration of cancer survivors.  The reception will include refreshments and speakers.  The reception will unveil an exhibit with representation from each county in the Purchase Area.  Those in the exhibit are listed below and the county they represent:

· Payton Dawson, Calloway County
· Mary Estes, Carlisle County
· Audrey Smith, Fulton County
· Marcy Martin, Graves County
· Connie Pate, Hickman County
· David and Ruthie Barker, Marshall County
· John and Debra Hall, McCracken County

The public is invited to attend the reception.  All local survivors, caregivers and other friends or family members are encouraged to come and all survivors will receive recognition as well.  The exhibit will be on display at Western Baptist Hospital in the Atrium of doctors office building #2 from May 25 – June 1.
