Some of Senator Danny Carroll's campaign yard signs have been vandalized in the past week.

Senator Carroll told West Kentucky Star that he knew of at least two signs that had been spray painted. These were in the Highway 62 area and also in the Grahamville community. The sign in the Grahamville community, which was seen by a West Kentucky Star Staff member, had been spray painted with the letters, "RTW".

Senator Carroll said he assumes these letters refer to, "Right to Work". He said he has no idea who is responsible for these acts, and he also said that, "unfortunately, this sort of activity is just part of being in politics today."

Vandalizing campaign signs in the Commonwealth of Kentucky is a criminal mischief misdemeanor, under KRS Chapter 512, and can be punishable by a fine of up to $500, and a year in jail.
