Children's Soccer Leagues Signups Underway

Registration is open for youth who are interested in playing soccer to register now for the upcoming leagues which are played at Jetton Soccer Fields.
 
Registration is underway for Paducah Area Youth Soccer Association (PAYSA) and Tiny Tot Soccer for boys and girls. Those interested may register at the Paducah Parks office at 1400 HC Mathis Drive from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Registration also is available online at www.paducahky.gov/parks-recreation-department.

Also, there will be a special registration day for youth sports on Saturday, March 2 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Parks office.

Parents should bring a birth certificate for all kids they plan to register.  The registration fee is $25 for Tiny Tot Soccer and $30 for PAYSA. T-shirts and shin guards will be provided. Shoes are not provided. The registration deadline for both leagues is Wednesday, March 20.
 
Tiny Tot Soccer is a non-competitive league for children ages 3-5 years old to introduce players to soccer fundamentals. Each week consists of 30 minutes of practice and a 30 minute scrimmage. Tiny Tot Soccer will start Saturday, April 13 and will continue through May 4. 
 
PAYSA, which focuses on improving soccer skills, is for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. Practices for PAYSA will start Monday, April 8. Games will be held on Saturdays, April 13 through May 11.
